FYI for Our Classes

Each of our classes are based in our Peekskill, NY location on the 3rd floor.

Because of our boutique type environment and level of instruction, we frequently modify moves to accommodate students.

Aerial and dance is for all bodies!

We recommend strongly in purchasing knee pads, which we also sell in the studio should you forget (as well as grip aid). Additionally, please arrive 5 minutes before the class start time as we have a strict tardy policy for everyone’s safety.

If this you are attending your first class, we recommend bringing a water bottle, knee pads if you’ve got ‘em, and appropriate attire.

  1. For Pole Classes: a tank top/ tee shirt and shorts

  2. For Lyra/Hoop Classes: a tank top/ tee shirt with leggings or tight fitting pants

  3. For Flying Pole: a tank top/ tee shirt with leggings or tight fitting pants

  4. For other Aerial classes not listed please be sure to read the class description for what’s recommended for attire — such as knee pads, pole heels, or other items.

Aerial Hoop (Lyra)

Find your joy in the air in the aerial hoop, otherwise known as the Lyra. Our professional training will help you build strength, flexibility, and confidence in the Lyra, ensuring you progress safely.

Workout pants or leggings are recommended.

Flying Pole

Flying pole combines traditional pole techniques with aerial rigging, allowing the pole to spin and move freely through the air. We find it actually a bit similar to a Lyra in its spinning movement.

Basic pole foundations techniques, especially knowledge of basic pole grips and climbs, are very useful for learning this apparatus. An FYI, our flying poles are silicone wrapped.

It’s recommended to come prepared to class with tight fitting pants or leggings.

Acro Yoga (Partner Acro)

Partner Acro is a dynamic, playful practice where you are the apparatus. Through approachable progressions, you’ll be supported in exploring any/all of acro’s three essential roles, base, flyer, and spotter, with options to increase or decrease the challenge level along the way. Whether you’re brand new or an experienced acrobat, this class offers something for everyone. It’s great cross training for other aerial disciplines as well.

No experience or partner required. Workout attire, such as leggings, bike shorts, and a tank top are recommended

Pole Dance

Unleash your power and grace with expert pole training. Whether you're mastering your first spin or perfecting advanced tricks, our pro tips will help you build strength, flexibility, and confidence—all while having a blast.

Grip aid and Knee pads are sold in the studio if you forget yours. It is also recommended to bring socks.

Some Pole classes require Pole specific heels. These are not ballroom dance or regular street heels (see above image for an example). We ask, especially for our Pole Heel specific classes, that you bring your own Pole Heels.

Floorwork / Floor Flow

A great place to start for beginners; an awesome place to build transitions and fluid movement. Floorwork builds movements that connects your body to your expression. This can include movements like shoulder rolls, handstands, body rolls, and prances from the floor (among other things).

Heels (Pole or Dance) optional, knee pads and socks required.
